Front page down?

I tried to log on this morning and the front page is down. I managed to log in through a direct link to my page. Any ideas what is up?

Dunno what's up. The Ning status page says all is well yet the front page isn't accessible. I'll try to find out what's going on.

Just tried accessing & I can log in using Konqeror but not when using Firefox. I much prefer Firefox but when I try to access I get "Sorry! An unexpected error has occurred." from the Ning site.

I've tried getting to the front page with Firefox and Safari and it's a no go. The Ning people said we screwed with something in the code, but we haven't touched the code for months. I am awaiting their latest response and hope to have all of this taken care of asap.

Hey Jon. Don't the Ning folks have backup of the main page they can load quickly from say a week ago? Since it worked then the "code problem" should be fixed. I run an ISP, if you need a hand getting this fixed add me as a friend and we can chat off list.

We seem to be back but not at 100 percent yet. Hopefully all the bugs will be ironed out soon. And I was suffering from withdrawal myself Joe!
